Pu-erh tea is originally from Yunnan and made from Camellia sinensis. Its fermentation is aged over a long time, and its flavour is earthy, woody, sometimes sweet or mellow.
There are 2 main types:
Sheng (raw) - naturally ages over years/decades.
Shou (ripe) - artificially fermented (faster process).
